Classical wavelet systems over finite fields
This article presents an analytic approach to study admissibility conditions related to classical full wavelet systems over finite fields using tools from computational harmonic analysis and theoretical linear algebra. It is shown that for a large class of non-zero window signals (wavelets), the generated classical full wavelet systems constitute a frame whose canonical dual are classical full ...
متن کاملQuantum Dynamical Entropies for Classical Stochastic Systems
We compare two proposals for the dynamical entropy of quantum deterministic systems (CNT and AFL) by studying their extensions to classical stochastic systems. We show that the natural measurement procedure leads to a simple explicit expression for the stochastic dynamical entropy with a clear informationtheoretical interpretation. Finally, we compare our construction with other recent proposals.
متن کاملClassical versus quantum errors in quantum computation of dynamical systems.
We analyze the stability of a quantum algorithm simulating the quantum dynamics of a system with different regimes, ranging from global chaos to integrability. We compare, in these different regimes, the behavior of the fidelity of quantum motion when the system's parameters are perturbed or when there are unitary errors in the quantum gates implementing the quantum algorithm. While the first k...
متن کاملComplete controllability of finite-level quantum systems
Complete controllability is a fundamental issue in the field of control of quantum systems, not least because of its implications for dynamical realizability of the kinematical bounds on the optimization of observables. In this paper we investigate the question of complete controllability for finite-level quantum systems subject to a single control field, for which the interaction is of dipole ...
متن کاملClassical versus stochastic kinetics modeling of biochemical reaction systems.
We study fundamental relationships between classical and stochastic chemical kinetics for general biochemical systems with elementary reactions. Analytical and numerical investigations show that intrinsic fluctuations may qualitatively and quantitatively affect both transient and stationary system behavior. Thus, we provide a theoretical understanding of the role that intrinsic fluctuations may...
